螢火蟲劇團贈療癒音樂劇「水月」，本月底將於高雄衛武營藝術文化中心登場。 記者梁雅雯／攝影 許多高雄氣爆災民，對當下驚恐餘悸猶存，高雄在地劇團螢火蟲劇團，希望陪高雄人走過傷痛，釋出音樂劇「水月」票券給災區民眾，希望帶給他們療癒的力量。「水月」經過一年多的田野訪談，還原民國48年艾倫颱風襲台，重創家園，造成失蹤死亡人數上千人的慘況，將災民心情寫成一首首歌曲，創作出的音樂劇。 「這齣戲很療癒！」參與記錄口述歷史的水月製作人黃曉菁說，經過了幾十年，老人家還是難以忘懷當年恐懼。劇中的生離死別會讓人落淚，但是哭完了心靈被洗滌過，會更有勇氣面對漫長重建之路。 導演韓江表示，台灣近來天災不斷，災後除了面對家園重建，更重要的是心靈重建。人們面對困難與挫折最重要的就是要有信仰，而這個信仰不一定是宗教，他的信仰是已故的母親，每當遇到難題時，總會想到「如果是媽媽會怎麼做」。 韓江說，水月劇中結合小時候在麵攤看到牆上掛的觀音菩薩踩龍背畫像，當時媽媽告訴他，那是八七水災時，菩薩救人的畫面，他希望藉此找回台灣人在純樸年代心中的價值，看看自己心中的信仰。 韓江表示，此次結合和春技術學院傳播藝術系及小港國中合唱團合作，以歌仔調詞性搭配西洋管弦樂器，捨棄傳統美聲唱法，讓演唱和演戲同時進行。演出過程，將會出現水漫劇場，水在觀眾腳底流竄，讓觀眾感同身受。 螢火蟲劇團表示，製作人家也是高雄氣爆受災戶，因此劇團決定釋票，邀高雄市苓雅區及前鎮區的民眾，憑任何身分證明文件領票，共釋出300張票，現在還有50張，可電洽螢火蟲劇團（07）387-0884。 【2014/08/20 聯合報】@ http://udn.com/ http://udn.com/NEWS/DOMESTIC/DOM6/8881972.shtml Firefly Theatre "Moon Water" healing victims  United Daily News ╱ reporter Liang Yawen / Kaohsiung report]  2014.08.20 04:27 am  Firefly Theatre musical gifts of healing, "Moon Water," will debut later this month in Kaohsiung Wei Wu camp arts and cultural center.  Reporter Liang Yawen / Photography  Many Kaohsiung gas explosion victims, for the moment of panic left a lingering fear, Kaohsiung fireflies in the theater troupe, hoping to accompany Kaohsiung through the pain, release the musical "Moon Water" ticket to disaster victims, hoping to bring their healing force.  "Moon Water" after a year of field interviews, Allen 48 years to restore the Republic Taiwan typhoon, hit home, causing thousands of deaths on the plight of the missing, the victims mood written song after song, creating a musical .  "The play is very healing!" Most thieves would balk at stealing on the NYPD baseball team, but the squad has been forced to cancel a tournament championship game after someone made off with its jerseys, gloves and bats.

大多數小偷都會盡量避免對紐約市警察局棒球隊下手，但這支隊伍被迫取消冠軍錦標賽的比賽，只因為有人偷走該隊的球衣、手套與球棒。

The New York Post reports the team comprised of New York City police officers was at a tournament in Texas when about $15,000 worth of gear and equipment was stolen from a team minivan.

Team manager Jose Vasquez tells the Post the police officers spent the morning filling out police reports instead of taking the field.

Jimmie Keys is irate. The Kent, Washington father says that a cafeteria worker at Middle Creek Middle School threw his son’s lunch in the garbage because the boy was 26 cents short of being able to pay for it. As KOMO 4 News reports, a Kent School District spokesperson has confirmed the incident happened and is apologizing on behalf of the district.

吉米．基斯很火大。這位（美國）華盛頓州肯特市的老爸說，中溪中學自助餐廳的一名員工，把他兒子的午餐丟進垃圾桶，只因為這孩子還差26美分才能付帳。KOMO 4新聞台報導，肯特學區的一名發言人證實確有此事，並代表學區致歉。

As KOMO notes, many Kent School District students pay for their lunches through a meal account. Mr. Keys’s son had only 14 cents left in his account when he took his lunch to a cashier. Instead of letting the child eat his lunch and forgiving the 26 cents, however, the employee threw his food in the garbage.

KOMO指出，不少肯特學區的學生透過餐點帳戶支付午餐費。基斯先生的兒子拿著午餐去結帳時，帳戶裡只剩下14美分。然而，與其讓孩子吃午餐、不足的26美分就算了，這名員工把他（男學生）的午餐丟進垃圾桶。

Kent School District spokesperson Chris Loftis told KOMO that the father’s allegations are true. He said that the cafeteria worker did not intend to be mean, and was following what they thought was proper procedure, but in the end, "We forgot the humanity of it."

A Serbian heart doctor appears to have set a few pulses racing after winning a medal in a bikini competition.

一名塞爾維亞心臟科醫師，在一場比基尼比賽中贏得獎牌後，顯然讓人有些血脈僨張。

Trainee cardiologist Maja Pavlovic, 23, reportedly won the medal in the European leg of the Women’s Bikini Fitness Contest in Spain.

據稱23歲的心臟科實習醫生瑪雅．帕夫洛維奇，贏得在西班牙舉行的女子比基尼健美比賽歐洲站賽事。

Ms Pavlovic is currently in her fifth and final year of medical school in the central Serbian town of Kragujevac and is now practising on patients as part of her final exams.

已走了多年多頭的美國垃圾債市場資金加速出走，上周美國垃圾債共同基金和ETF遭投資人贖回的金額創歷來最高，反映出投資人擔心市場已泡沫化。

根據基金研究業者理柏（Lipper）資料，截至6日（周三）為止的一周內，投資人從這類基金贖回71億美元，刷新去年6月上旬所創下的46億美元紀錄。今年來贖回金額累計已達97.5億美元。

投資人陸續撤出垃圾債市場，主要著眼於美國經濟轉強，可能讓聯準會（Fed）的升息時間比市場預期更早。

根據巴克萊（Barclays）的一項指數，截至周三美國垃圾債平均殖利率為5.8%，上個月還不到5%。債券殖利率上揚時，價格下跌。

垃圾債是財務狀況不佳的公司所發行的債券，收益率通常較高。

A hospital in the French city of Clermont-Ferrand is to open a wine bar where terminally ill patients will be able to enjoy a "medically-supervised" glass or two with their families.

法國克雷蒙─費弘市的一家醫院將開設一間酒吧，讓末期病患能夠與家人在「醫療性監督下」小酌一、兩杯。

"Why should we refuse the charms of the soil to those at the end of their lives? Nothing justifies such an prohibition," the Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital Center said in statement. The center’s head, Dr. Virginie Guastella, said terminally ill patients had the right to "enjoy themselves".

「為什麼我們拒絕讓那些走到生命盡頭的人享受土地的美好，如此禁令毫無道理。」克雷蒙─費弘大學醫學中心聲明指出。該中心主管夸斯泰拉醫師說，末期患者有權「獲取樂趣」。

The bar will be the first in France to offer such a facility for patients and their families. Staff will be specially trained before it opens in the hospital’s palliative care center in September.

"Medically supervised tastings will help brighten what is often a difficult daily life," the hospital said.

The contents of an ornately-decorated gourd alleged to hold traces of the king’s dried blood has long been the subject of scientific disagreement, with tests throwing up contradictory results.

On Thursday, a team from Europe and the United States said they had sequenced the full genome of the DNA, and found it was unlikely to be from someone tall or blue-eyed -- both features ascribed to the 18th century monarch.

週四，一支歐美研究小組說，他們已排出此DNA整個基因組序列，發現它不太可能來自某個高大藍眼的人—這兩個特徵屬於這位18世紀的君主。

"The results of these analyses do not support the royal identity of the genome," the authors concluded in a study in the journal Nature Scientific Reports.

Researchers have been trying for years to verify a claim imprinted on the calabash that："On January 21, Maximilien Bourdaloue dipped his handkerchief in the blood of Louis XVI after his decapitation" in Paris in 1793.

He is then said to have placed the fabric in the dried, hollow gourd and had it embellished with portraits of revolutionary heroes.

In 2010, a study said DNA analysis of blood traces found inside the ornate vegetable revealed a match for someone of Louis’ description, including his blue eyes.

One of the authors of that paper, Carles Lalueza-Fox of the Institute of Evolutionary Biology in Barcelona, also participated in the latest study, which contradicts the blue-eyed finding. He told AFP the latest DNA analysis was much more complete："we have now the whole genome of the person（in）the gourd."（AFP）

Despite the potentially damaging political optics, the Democratic mayor appears set on embarking Friday on a 10-day Italian vacation in the face of a looming Long Island Rail Road strike, which if it happens Sunday could paralyze portions of the largest U.S. city.
