佐科威以台為師 促增競爭力

印尼準總統佐科威昨天在一場研討會上強調人類發展的重要性，認為印尼有若干缺點待改進。他列舉台灣、新加坡和日本人類發展卓越帶動高生產力。

印尼新聞網站detik.com報導，佐科威（JokoWidodo）昨天在日惹（Yogyakarta）參加一場慶祝建國獨立的座談會上指出，人類發展是印尼獨立建國迄今尚未完成的最艱困任務。

他引述印尼著名作家穆赫塔爾‧盧比斯（MochtarLubis）的分析，指出印尼人多項必須根除的特性，分別是偽善、不願為自己的作為負責、封建、迷信和懦弱。

他也引述印尼人類學家古加拉寧葛拉特（Kuntjaraningrat）對於印尼人性弱點的描述，第一個特質就是喜歡輕忽事務的品質。

佐科威以他過去從事家具出口為例指出，他的確對印尼民眾不重視品質深有所感。

他說，人類發展是印尼現在面臨最大的問題，因為這涉及到心靈改革，改善是困難的，但必須明確完成。

值得注意的是，佐科威在座談會中提到台灣、新加坡和日本的高生產力是來自高度人類發展的結果。

佐科威認為，印尼還是可以追上其他國家人類發展的腳步，這要從幼稚園、國中、高中的教育一路做起，畢竟這攸關印尼的生產力和競爭力。

Jimmie Keys is irate. The Kent, Washington father says that a cafeteria worker at Middle Creek Middle School threw his son’s lunch in the garbage because the boy was 26 cents short of being able to pay for it. As KOMO 4 News reports, a Kent School District spokesperson has confirmed the incident happened and is apologizing on behalf of the district.

As KOMO notes, many Kent School District students pay for their lunches through a meal account. Mr. Keys’s son had only 14 cents left in his account when he took his lunch to a cashier. Instead of letting the child eat his lunch and forgiving the 26 cents, however, the employee threw his food in the garbage.

Kent School District spokesperson Chris Loftis told KOMO that the father’s allegations are true. He said that the cafeteria worker did not intend to be mean, and was following what they thought was proper procedure, but in the end, "We forgot the humanity of it."

A Serbian heart doctor appears to have set a few pulses racing after winning a medal in a bikini competition.

Trainee cardiologist Maja Pavlovic, 23, reportedly won the medal in the European leg of the Women’s Bikini Fitness Contest in Spain.

Ms Pavlovic is currently in her fifth and final year of medical school in the central Serbian town of Kragujevac and is now practising on patients as part of her final exams.

在一般人聽來，覺得很不可思議。心裏會這麼想＂你又不是誰，人家幹麼一定要找你啊＂。但是，我知道如果是　神的安排，　神一定會給我一個兆頭，就如同聖經中的以利亞先知身處在三年六個月沒有下雨的環境，　神讓他看到一片小雲，他就有信心的說，神要降下大雨了。所以當別人問我要不要去ＸＸ廠時，我心中有那麼一點的感動，心想這是神給我的兆頭嗎？經過與妻子的討論以及禱告。我知道這是　神的安排。雖然這當中有一些困難，波折。但是我相信如果是　神的安排，　神的賜福。最後一定會成就這事情。就算事情最後不是如我所願，我也相信，神的安排也是最好的。因為我知道　祢是無所不知的，祢是無所不能的。即使最後的安排不是我想要的，我也相信　神的安排是最適合我的。　神所賜的福，使人富足，並不加上憂慮。

A hospital in the French city of Clermont-Ferrand is to open a wine bar where terminally ill patients will be able to enjoy a "medically-supervised" glass or two with their families.

"Why should we refuse the charms of the soil to those at the end of their lives? Nothing justifies such an prohibition," the Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital Center said in statement. The center’s head, Dr. Virginie Guastella, said terminally ill patients had the right to "enjoy themselves".

A 17-year-old boy has been sentenced to 23 years behind bars for fatally shooting a retired police dog during a burglary.

一名17歲男孩因闖空門時槍殺一隻退休警犬，被判23年徒刑。

Ivins Rosier was convicted in May for breaking into the Florida home of a trooper and shooting the officer’s five-year-old German Shepherd two years ago. Drake, a former drug-sniffing dog, was euthanized five days later.

艾文斯．羅齊爾2年前闖入佛州一名警官住家，並射殺警官領養的5歲大德國牧羊犬，於5月間被判處有罪。前緝毒犬德瑞克5天後遭安樂死。

Rosier, who was 16 at the time of the incident but tried as an adult, was sentenced on Friday on charges of animal cruelty and armed.

Circuit Judge Robin Rosenberg said she handed Rosier a tough sentence as she was bound by sentencing guidelines. Rosier was one of three teens who broke into Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Robert Boody’s home on November 18, 2012. He confessed to police he was the one who shot the dog.

吉安鄉南濱路一段，9日晚間10許發生遊覽車翻覆意外，車上搭載參加救國團「暑期國家青年菁英領袖營」的大學生中有20人輕傷送醫，家住附近的花蓮門諾醫院急診醫師辜文俊第一時間到場檢傷救護，獲民眾讚許，11日他受訪謙虛說「這只是身為醫師應該做的事啦！」
參加營隊的學生9日晚間結束在花蓮市花崗山的晚會活動後，搭車要至東華大學夜宿，但遊覽車司機疑為閃避路旁竄出的野狗，導致擦撞安全島翻覆，辜文俊當時在家聽聞轟天巨響，驚覺不妙，穿著短褲、拖鞋就急忙衝到現場幫忙救護。
辜文俊表示，事故現場距離他家只有10多公尺，他看到遊覽車翻覆，心想可能有人重傷受困，沒想太多就趕到現場表明醫師身分，並找領隊詢問車上人數，請沒有受傷的學生和路人幫忙，將卡在車裡的學生帶出來，核對人數正確，發現學生傷勢沒有太嚴重後，才稍微鬆了一口氣。
辜文俊特別提到，當所有人都被集中安置在附近的空地，另有一位不認識的醫師也到場幫忙，和他共同將傷患檢傷分類，讓傷勢較重者，救護車一來就可馬上送醫，傷勢較輕者，則在現場包紮，做簡單固定後再另行送醫。
約40分鐘後，所有傷患都送抵醫院，辜文俊還擔心急診室人手短缺，無法應付大量傷患，獨自騎車趕回醫院幫忙，直到凌晨確認傷患皆無大礙才返家休息。
辜文俊回憶，4年前他到紐西蘭度假時，碰巧遇上基督城大地震，當時有醫護背景的遊客紛紛放棄遊程投入救災，國外醫師在現場處理緊急災難的應變能力讓他印象深刻；這次遊覽車翻覆，也有許多人停車幫忙，讓他見識「人間處處有溫情」，很感動。

我今天晚上因為關心一位阿姨的兒子，在言談之間他說了一句話，那是他對他兒子說的話，他說＂不論如何都不要離開　神＂。這句話深入我的心。當我內心受到創傷時，這阿姨突然說出這句話，震撼了我的心，因為她不知道我心裏受傷，卻說出這句勸勉的話，我那時感覺好像是　神在對我說話一樣。

今天我會遇到這樣的挫折，　神都知道。而　神卻允許讓這樣的事情發生了，我那時突然想到二段經節──

申命記 第八章  第2節 你也要記念耶和華你的神在曠野引導你這四十年，是要苦煉你、試驗你，要知道你心內如何，肯守他的誡命不肯。

歷代志下 第三十二章  第31節 惟有一件事，就是巴比倫王差遣使者來見希西家，訪問國中所現的奇事；這件事神離開他，要試驗他，好知道他心內如何。

      感謝主，如果是主耶穌要試驗我，讓我受苦，讓我受挫，為的是要知道我心內如何。如果是這樣，我真的要經得起考驗，一定要通過考驗。那麼所受的挫折，是　神要給我的考試，我能拒絶嗎？我能生氣嗎？當我想到是　神要知道我心內如何，我就不再傷心，不再難過了。

How do you know within your heart

Chronicles Chapter 32, Section 31, only one thing, that the king of Babylon, sent messengers to Hezekiah, visit the country in the present wonders; God left him, to try him, that he knew his heart the how.
Thank the Lord, if it is the Lord Jesus to test me, let me suffer, let me frustrated, as to know what was in my heart. If so, I really want to stand the test, be sure to pass the test. Then suffered setbacks, God give me the exam, can I refuse? I angry? When I think of is how to know God in my heart, I will not be sad, not sad.

                        而是有多少人在你背後稱讚你。

什麼是口才？不是你說的口若懸河，

                        而是你說的可以溫暖人心。

什麼是棟樑？不是你會做很多事，

                        而是很多人都需要你。

What is popular?

There are not many people like you,

But there are many people willing to help you.

What is networking?

Not how many people you know,

But you have helped many people.

What is popular?

There are not many people in front of you to flatter you,

But how many people praise you behind your back.

What is eloquence?

Not what you say eloquent,

But you say can warm the heart.

What are the pillars?

You will not do a lot of things,

But many people need you.
